Well, that's the good news. The bad news is I feel like I'm waiting for the world to end. Our rent is a month late, and soon a second month will be due. Our power bill is due on the 6th, or they'll turn that off. Our Water bill is so late it's not funny and I'm amazed they HAVEN'T turned it off. Who knows when our cable is due again. But we don't have the money to pay for any of it.

Mom's been sick as a dog with her chemo since we can't afford to get her the really good nausea medicine, and next month we need another $400 for her health insurance or we're kinda screwed there. The only bright side seems to be that we finally got approved for food stamps so won't go hungry. But it seems absolutely impossible to get a job around here lately. And considering I've only had one job before in my life, I have absolutely no references. u_u

On another note, I DO want to thank everyone who commissioned me for pictures. KNow you will probably be paying my power bill, and I am thankful *hugs all around*

For anyone interested in my book, here's a small little excerpt.


It surprised him a little, how nosy the younger man was, without
showing even a hint of shame. But he realized it wasn’t really
intrusive to the point the actually minded, so he relaxed and
sipped his drink before letting out a heavy sigh.

“Vacation. She came to tell me we’re taking one.” He lamented,
somehow making it sound like impending doom.

There was a moment of peculiar silence where Evan was certain
the younger man was trying bravely not to chuckle at him. He
had to appreciate the restraint.

“And… that’s a bad thing?”

His lips twitched.

“In three days. To visit her parents.”

“Oh.”

It was remarkable how all the sympathy and understanding of the
entire male species could fit into one tiny syllable. More
remarkable how it made him smile.
